Black Zeppelin became a reality in June 2005. What started as a dream of lead vocalist CRAIG BLACK , was a band that not only played cover tunes but specialized in a genre of rock that many long for in today's music world. HANS CLEVER ( DRUMS ) brings the thundering backbeats of John Bonham, and Neil Peart back to life with powerful fills and the confidence of a true music veteran. JIM BRIGNOLI (BASS), sets the rythyms with the spirit of Geddy Lee,and the technical wizardry of John Paul Jones, as well as an unbounded energy that makes the music fun and each gig a party. Rounding out the Rock edge of this band is TOMMY AUERBACH (GUITARS). Tommy graduated from G.I.T. in 1996 with a mastery ,and degree in rock guitar.He plays with the skills of Joe Satriani, the speed and agility of Randy Rhodes , and a style that's all Tommy. Craig's vocals bring the sounds of Paul Rodgers, Robert Plant ,Phil Moog, Ozzy, and Geddy Lee to life in a way that few vocalists can do. Focusing on songs from the 70's and 80's by Black Sabbath,Led Zeppelin, Bad Co., UFO, Rush, Aerosmith, Ted Nugent, Derringer, Dio, and Ozzy, the band is always rehearsing and practicing new songs to make every show a special Rock and Roll extravaganza |
